1. General

1.1 “Jolu-Events” is the company and owner of the Products.

1.2 The “Customer” refers to the person, company, organization or firm renting the Products.

1.3 “Conditions” means these rental conditions.

1.4 The “Products” means all Products and accessories for the Renter.

 

2. General Terms and Conditions for Events

2.1 These General Terms and Conditions apply to the exclusion of any other terms proposed by the Customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Jolu-Events and the Renter.

2.2 Jolu-Events undertakes to rent equipment to the Customer on the terms set out in this document. If the Customer wishes to rent Products, the Customer must sign the offer, complete the booking form and complete any other documents that are required.

2.3 Jolu-Events may, at its sole discretion, refuse to rent Products to Customers at any time, even without a valid reason.

2.4 The offer must be signed before the event date, the customer hereby agrees to comply with these general terms and conditions.

 

3. Rental periods

3.1 Rental prices are calculated based on the days of use/day of use (day of the event for approx. 24 hours). Collection between 12.00 and 13.00 on the day of the event. Return the next day between 11.00 and 12.00 at the latest. If no other agreement (in writing) has been made and the times are not adhered to, Jolu-Events will charge an additional day. An extension of the rental period can be requested by the customer, subject to the availability of the products. Jolu-Events will create an offer based on the desired rental period.

 

4. Delivery, assembly and collection

4.1 Jolu-Events offers a full transport service. Transport costs are calculated based on the specific event location/times/products and confirmed upon booking confirmation. Delivery and collection between Schwaz and Wörgl is €85.

4.2 It is necessary that the customer contacts the venue to obtain permission to set up Jolu-Events products on their premises and that sufficient space and power are provided prior to delivery.

4.3 During delivery, set-up and pick-up times, a contact person must be available on site at all times to show the contact person how to use the rented products and to sign the delivery note. The customer must provide Jolu-Events with the contact details of the contact person (telephone number and name) at least 24 hours before delivery.

4.4 The customer must inform Jolu-Events of any required permits, instructions or additional documents at least 7 days before the delivery date.

4.5 The customer is responsible for giving Jolu-Events sufficient time and access to the venue for set-up and pick-up.

4.6 Delivery and collection outside of our standard hours (Monday – Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.) will incur an additional surcharge of 50% of the transport price.

 

5. Payment

5.1 Payment must be made within 5 days. If payment is not made by the deadline, the reservation will be cancelled.

5.2 If product availability allows, a product can be added to a booking at a later date. However, please note that this may affect the transport fee.

 

6. Loss, damage and other fees

All items are used and therefore show reasonable signs of wear as they are long-term rental items.

6.1 I, as the customer, take full responsibility for the condition of all products during the rental period or until they are returned to Jolu Events and am liable for any damage or loss caused to the products. Any equipment lost, damaged or stolen during the rental must be paid for by the customer. The Customer will pay Jolu-Events the actual cost of replacing or, at Jolu-Events discretion, repairing the Products, regardless of the age or condition of the Products, at the current replacement cost.

6.2 Jolu-Events will take photographs of the Products once they are set up, showing the current condition of the equipment at the start of the rental period, in the event of a dispute. The Customer will be liable for any negligent act, omission or breach of these Terms and Conditions throughout the rental period.

6.3 The Customer agrees to remove all items attached to Products by the agreed collection time. Failure to remove any items will incur a removal fee as set out below.

6.4 A cleaning fee will be charged if returned dirty or with wet letters. No “coloured smoke bombs/fountains” may be left in the immediate vicinity.
