General Terms and Conditions Picnic

1 The following General Terms and Conditions in the version valid at the time of the order apply exclusively to the business relationship between Jolu-Events, Dorfplatz 1, 6263 Fügen, (hereinafter referred to as “Seller”) and the customer (hereinafter referred to as “Customer”).

2 You can contact our customer service for questions, complaints and objections on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. by email at joluevent@gmail.com

3 A consumer within the meaning of these General Terms and Conditions is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for a purpose that cannot be attributed to either their commercial or their independent professional activity (Section 13 of the German Civil Code).

4 Deviating conditions of the customer are not recognized unless the seller expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

Offers and services

1 The booking is only valid after the order has been confirmed by Jolu-Events.

2 All offers are valid “while stocks last” unless otherwise stated for the products. Errors are otherwise reserved.

Ordering process

1 The customer can select products from the seller’s range and book them without obligation using the order form. Jolu-Events will confirm the request by phone or email and clarify further details.

2 The seller will then send the customer an automatic confirmation of receipt by email, in which the customer’s order is listed again and which the customer can print out using the “Print” function (order confirmation). The contract is concluded upon receipt of the order confirmation.


1 All prices stated on the seller’s website include the applicable statutory sales tax if there is no small business status.

2 Delivery, assembly and dismantling are carried out by Jolu-Events.

Availability of goods and delivery

1 If none of the products selected by the customer is available at the time of the customer’s order, the seller will inform the customer of this in the order confirmation. If the product is permanently unavailable, the seller will refrain from accepting the order. In this case, no contract is concluded.

2 If the product specified by the customer in the order is only temporarily unavailable, the seller will also inform the customer of this immediately in the order confirmation.


1 If a location is chosen for the picnic by Jolu-Events, the times must be adhered to. Jolu-Events will set up the agreed service on time and will dismantle it again after the rental period has expired. If the customer arrives late, this time will NOT be added, but deducted from the total time. Of course, if available, it is possible to extend the rental period in 30-minute units (extra charge).

2 If a location has been chosen by the customer, they must ensure that this event can or may take place there. Jolu-Events accepts NO liability for claims of trespass or similar.

3 If the event takes place at the customer’s home, the setup will take around 45 to 60 minutes. Jolu-Events needs a contact person on site, with a name and telephone number.

4 If it is not possible to hold the picnic due to weather conditions, an alternative date or location can be found. Cancellations can only be accepted ONE week before the booked date.

Payment terms

1 The customer must pay a deposit of €100 when booking. Deposits can only be refunded up to TWO weeks before the event. The remaining amount must be paid one week before the event for the event to take place. The customer must provide the amount, otherwise Jolu-Events reserves the right not to provide the service (picnic).

2 Payment by invoice is only possible by arrangement.

3 If third parties are commissioned to process payments, e.g. Paypal or Stripe, their general terms and conditions apply.

4 If the due date for payment is determined according to the calendar, the customer is in default simply by missing the appointment. In this case, the customer must pay default interest of 5 percentage points above the base interest rate.

5 The customer’s obligation to pay default interest does not exclude the seller from claiming further damages for default.

6 The customer is only entitled to a right of set-off if his counterclaims have been legally established or recognized by the seller. The customer can only exercise a right of retention if the claims result from the same contractual relationship.

Retention of title

1 The delivered goods remain the property of the seller until full payment has been made.


Start of the cancellation policy for consumers

Revocation by express written declaration

Every customer can claim the service within 7 days by

send a written declaration of withdrawal without giving reasons from the concluded contract. If these 7 days are within 2 weeks before the event, the above-mentioned clauses (deposit) are valid

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Jolu-Events, jolu-events@gmail.com) by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

To meet the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

If you make use of this option, we will immediately send you a confirmation of receipt of such a withdrawal (e.g. by email).

Consequences of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will refund all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choosing a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), promptly and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless something else was expressly agreed with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this refund.
If you have requested that the services begin during the cancellation period, you must pay us an appropriate amount that corresponds to the proportion of the services already provided up to the time at which you notify us of the exercise of the right of cancellation with regard to this contract compared to the total scope of the services provided for in the contract.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

1 The right of withdrawal does not apply to the delivery of goods that are manufactured according to customer specifications or are clearly tailored to personal needs, to perishable goods, or to the delivery of audio or video recordings or software, provided that the data carriers delivered have been unsealed by you.

Data protection

1 The seller processes the customer’s personal data for a specific purpose and in accordance with the statutory provisions.

2 The personal data provided for the purpose of ordering goods (such as name, e-mail address, address, payment details) are used by the seller to fulfill and process the contract. This data is treated confidentially and is not passed on to third parties who are not involved in the ordering, delivery and payment process.

3 The customer has the right to receive information free of charge on request about the personal data that the seller has stored about him. In addition, he has the right to correct incorrect data, block and delete his personal data, provided that there is no statutory retention obligation to the contrary.
